The Parent Council is intended to support the school by encouraging parental participation, parent teacher interaction and organising various events for parents, teachers and children.

Art Workshop – 14th October

We had a delightful and very talented artist Mrs Azmi as our demonstrator for the Art workshop held in Primus Private School. Everyone was enthralled by this gracious and skilled artist who created wonderful and colourful imaginative paintings within an hour. This art workshop inspired the creative spirits in every child by utilizing the rhythm of music, imagination and the art of water colour.

Workshop on Healthy Living – October 12th

A girls of Grade 4 had the wonderful opportunity to interact with Mrs Sabitha Kallai for a session on "Rainbow of Foods for Healthy Living" The girls were introduced to different coloured foods – red (watermelon, pomegranate), orange (orange, pumpkin), green (broccoli, avocado) etc and were shown specimens of the same. They learnt about essential nutrients, especially vitamins & minerals.

Safety Campaign – October 28th

A safety campaign was organized for the students of Grade 2, 3 and 4 by our Parent Council members, Mrs Jayalakshmi Raju Iyer & Mrs Sayli Panse. A general awareness about safety measures at home, in the bus stop, at school, inside the bus and in the shopping mall were explained through videos and a presentation. Children actively shared their experiences and made the workshop lively and interesting. Every class was given a book on Safety Measures and they have placed it their class Reading corners.

Mom & Me – Etiquette Week – 24th – 28th January 2010

Our Parent Council members Mrs Sylie Menon, Mrs Deepa Sunil, Mrs Seema Nambiar and Mrs Jaya conducted an entertaining and educational etiquette classes for the children of  the primary section . The aim of this programme was to bring knowledge, skill and confidence in manners and etiquettes in children.   In addition to basic table manners, children also learned tips on grooming and how to eat different foods in style. The children had lots of fun and followed instructions on table manners while eating .Quizzing, worksheets and handouts of table manners were given to every child. As a token of gratitude a memento was given by the organizers of the parent council to the class teachers of each class. The children thoroughly enjoyed the Etiquette week with their friends and were keen to learn about table manners.
